Earlier versions of Premiere (e.g. 6.5) did not have this requirement. Premiere Elements is a 'cut down' version which is almost certainly based on Premiere Pro and will have the same OS requirement. If that's what it says on the box you can be reasonably sure it is correct. You essentially have two choices: 1) Send the Elements back for a refund. 2) Buy Windows XP (with SP2).
Unless you have a particular requirement for features that are only available in Premiere Elements you will probably be better off sticking to Premiere 6 or 6.5. ------------------------ Yahoo!
