It's possible to be happen if you are trying to edit
an MPEG file or non-DV AVI file. You have to render it
first.
If the clip you try to edit is a DV AVI format and You
are using Adobe Premiere 6.5 or below, You have
to upgrade your machine. If you are using Adobe
Premiere Pro, You have to wait until the conform
process finished.
