There is no need to do any of the if you are creating a DVD. The DVD player will correct the aspect ratio. There is a setting in a DVD player's setup to tell it what type of TV you are displaying it on. All DVD players have this setting. This will automatically add the letterboxing on anamorphic widescreen video when displaying on 4:3 TVs. On 16:9 TVs, it will display correctly and fill the screen. You just need to make sure your DVD authoring software supports creating DVDs that are 16:9 (most of them do today).
So, just start with a widescreen project in Premiere. Import your video. Edit your video as normal. Export as a widescreen pixel aspect movie and create your DVD. -Jeremy A Moore lancer777 wrote: >this may help... > >http://www.mykaskin.freeserve.co.uk/myksvideopages/plugins.html > >--- In [email protected], "Renu" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > >>Hi! >> >>I have video footage recorded at 16:9 widescreen camera setting.
