RESPONSE
Dear List members,
This Group has some really great advice and often provides rapid solutions
to problems that might otherwise take ages to solve. However could I beg
everyone to make it clear which TV system they are referring to when they
ask a question and offer advice. It isn't fair to assume that all readers
use the same system as you do and there is real danger that readers
(particularly beginners) will learn incorrect information which may cause
unnecessary problems.

There is only a handful of countries which use NTSC whilst most of the rest
of the world uses PAL so one tends to assume that, where advice is not
specific, it applies to PAL. If that is not the case I, for one, would be
most grateful for clarification. Sometimes solutions are 'country specific'
so, again, it is helpful to all of us (including you) to make it clear which
country you are in.

Does anyone know how many pixels there are in the SECAM version of DV?
