<<My 21" CRT Monitor has died and I am borrowing another monitor that is on
the verge of quitting so I must buy another one ASAP. What is your general
opinion of CRT vs LCD Monitors? I'm looking at a 19" CRT vs a 17 or maybe
19" LCD? I have 3 videos that I am currently working on, so I have to get a
monitor today or tomorrow.>>
---Two things to think about:
1) Price....if the CRT is available for a better price and it's from a good
name mfr, that's worth thinking about.
2) They've been making CRT's for about sixty years now, so they are
perfected.....(at least I THINK they are?)
No matter how good LCD is, and LCD is damn good, CRT still remains a
benchmark against which all other types are tested.
If it were me, I would stick with a known quamtity and get another CRT.
