A while back there was a discussion about the hard drive format about
being NTFS or fat32
I can't remember which one we said we should use for unlimitted capture
size
I had a discussion with a friend and he would like to know.
It's NTFS, and it will soon be a moot point anyway because Microsoft
announced the official
"End of Product Life" for all Windows Operating Systems like Win95, 98, and
Me.
Windows 2000 and Windows XP are "built" around the Windows NT kernel which
is why they use
the "NT File System" or NTFS.
In fact, XP really IS Windows NT version 5.1, Build 2600.
NT was a reliable workstation and server platform for decades and the reason
MS decided to use the name
"XP" was most likely because they wanted the general public to think it was
"new".
In my humble opinion, MS should never have unleashed 95, 98 and Me on the
public at all.
They should have started with NT and stayed with it from the beginning.
