So the problem is exhibited on your external monitor as well? (Sorry to
be thick, but you didn't specify yes or no.)
What project preset are you using? A DV project? Also, do you have any
effects applied to these color mattes?
Hi Jeff,
I don't use an external monitor (lack of space etc) but when I render
and output to file, tape(DV), DVD, it's dirty. In reality, the
connection doesn't seem to be in the rendering.
Preset is the standard PAL 48khz.
When I drop any clip/title/blank frame(colour matte) onto the time
line, it shows correctly, as soon as another item (anything) is clicked
on & then go back to the one I have just put in, it has dropped in
brightness. So there doesn't seem to be any connection to filters.
I tried starting a brand new project to see how this reacted, it has
exactly the same problem, so as you can see, I daren't open any
existing projects incase they end up the same.
If I wasn't already a good way to being bald, I'd be pulling my hair
out!
Regards,
Andy.
