Any idea why the heck I drop in an MPEG file and Premiere thinks it's
an audio file?

I tried MPEG and MPG extensions, and it doesn't seem to matter what
flavor the video really is (MPEG-1 or 2 etc). The system is a Dell
laptop running Premiere 6.5 on XP Pro using the onboard Firewire
interface (no capture card). Any suggestions would be appreciated!
