Just curious how I can transform a project to an .avi file so I can
burn it to a dvd? I am also incorporating jpegs.
Thanks!
David
------DVD's dont USE avi. You EDIT in avi and then convert the edited avi to a
file format which DVD's use, which is MPEG-2 DVD-video which the DVD author
program THEN converts to something called a .VOB
So if you already have your avi files, drag and drop em into your editing
program and then feed them to:
1) MPEG-2 plug-in which might be included with your editing software
OR
2) Standalone MPEG encoding software like TMPGEnc Xpress 3.0, for example.
If you put avi files on a DVD you will end up with a data disc which a
standalone DVD player does NOT recognize and besides that, you'll only fit
about 11 minutes of video on the disc...
