I just finished refurbing a computer to use as a second editing
machine.
Specs:
XP Pro
AMD Athlon 1.2 GHz
128 RAM
20 Gig Master
40 Gig Slave
I meet the minimum requirements per Adobe. Yes, I know I could
improve the machine, but when you're poor white trash... ;-)
Anyway, I get this message when I try to start Pro:
ASLMessage Window: Adobe Premiere Pro.exe - Application Error
The Application failed to initialize properly (0xc000001d). Click
on OK to terminate the application.
Just for grins, I tried loading it on my personal puter which is
very similar and had no problems. I wiped the machine and reloaded
everything, same story (x3).
Haven't found anything useful at Adobe.com Any ideas?
