At the track level, you can use the audio mixer window in write, touch, or latch mode.
At the clip level, you can use the voume fixed effect in the effect controls window. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Boom" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, July 10, 2005 2:55 PM Subject: [AP] Track volume fine adjustments Hi, all, I'm trying to do some very simple audio mixing in Premiere Pro and am having a tough time. I have a series of audio clips in a track that are all adjusted relative to each other. Now I'm trying to contour the overall volume of the track to match the position of the camera to the subject: everything's louder when I'm closer, everything's softer when I'm further away. In Premiere 6.0 I'd simply use rubber bands in an audio track and drag the volume up for some clips, down for others with nice ramps in between. I can do the same thing in Premiere Pro 1.5 using track volume keyframes, but I don't have any fine control: if I use the pen tool to drag up and down, it has about 6 different levels from silent to full blast. Premiere 6.0 used to let you hold down the Shift key as you dragged to get 1-pt. adjustments up and down. Shift key has no effect in Premiere Pro. Is there any way to get fine control while dragging track volume keyframes? And is there any way to remove all volume keyframes from a track at one time? I'm hoping Adobe didn't take a backward step with keyframe adjustment from 6.0 to Premiere Pro, and has substituted a new way to do this. Thanks, Mike Boom Yahoo! Groups Links Yahoo!
