This is the second recent mention of running an older Premiere version
on XP. Can this be done with success?
I'd like to upgrade my OS to XP (I already have the XP purchased), but
I'm NOT yet ready to buy a Premiere suite upgrade or PPro. I'm using 6.0.
Therefore, I would be interested in knowing if 6.0 runs without problems
on XP. Are many folks running the older versions on XP? Is it fairly
stable??
Many Thanks!
John
(PS: I've heard it said by some that XP is really Win2K with updated
graphics .... others say that XP is a whole newly written OS. So I'm
confused as to whether to try P6.0 on XP or not.)
