I believed it's Premeier that they helped created and then made FCP, Pro is a different story.
I really enjoy reading the different comment from many of you, it's help to know that at least I'm not one facing the annoying perception that FCP or Avid is better than Ppro... In the other hand, in addition to schools and such having graduates working on FCP instead of Ppro, I guessed, the users, us, should also do a lot of grass root promotion, show good work that was done with Premiere. Incidently, I just signed a huge tv project deal which because the owners saw A Joker's Card and liked how it was cut/done and didn't care if I have FCP or not. :) not to mention, now that I can build (since I'm an IT guy myself) a HD system for less than $7000 (I hope), Premiere is the way for me to go, after all, there are still a lot of cool stuff I haven't learned with Premiere Pro! Johnny PS: we need more films like Dust to Glory, films that actually make a lot of buzz that would help :) Johnny ================================== Media Design Imaging innovates and break the molds of visual creation http://www.mdifilm.com 216.373.3278 President (2004 & 2005) Organization of Chinese American of Greater Cleveland OCAGC http://www.ocagc.org Wu Jia Quan Shu (Art of Wu Family System) 2800 years old Family Style Martial Arts http://www.wujiaquan.com -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Mark McLaughlin Sent: 07/29/2005 1:49 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [AP] Venting - how do you cope when faced with clients that wants FCP? Yes I understood the folks (coders) who wrote FCP also worked on Premiere Pro. Can anyone confirm this assertion, and the order in which the products were developed?
