Sata is junk? :) I thought SATA is close to SCSI in sense it's like RAID setup... And the hard drives are like 72000 rpm or 10,000 rpm
Obviously it's good for MiniDV and some HDV (depending on your computer's speed/ram, etc) editing. For HD however, you'll need to go with SCSI drive (from what I've read so far).
