Thanks to everyone who responded. Re-installing Quicktime did the trick. I 
should have remembered that all music, imaging, and video related software had 
its roots in the Apple community. Or maybe just revisiting the prereqs for the 
Premiere installation should have solved my problems. Thanks for the help.
