Keith, this might be a stupid question, did you check the mini-dv tape
in the canon to see if the audio plays in both channel?

Subject: [AP] Mini DV Sound in Premiere

Hi all.

I have a tape recorded on a Canon XL1-S and a wireless mics. It was
recorded in stereo with the boom mic on one channel and a wireless mic
on the other channel. When I capture into Premiere Pro 1.5, I get one
video track and one audio track. I can't hear the channel with the
wireless mic's audio.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.
Keith
