Torrie, Although Norway is a PAL country its also true to say that most European DVD players will play NTSC discs without much problem. You might save yourself a problem by sending your Norwegian user an NTSC disc and see if they can play it before you go to any trouble converting anything to PAL. On the assumption that your original source material is NTSC then you can follow Sune's advice and work in PAL but you would then have to convert your source material to PAL before you work on it. I understand that Canopus' Procoder or Procoder Express software does a good job of transcoding DV material between NTSC and PAL and you could do that before or after the edit. Remember that if you have an NTSC monitor attached to your edit set-up then you may be better working in NTSC and then converting the edited material.

My advice is to do this PAL from start to finish. Open a new project and select the PAL settings. Edit in pal and export to pal. I hope this was helpful! sune:) On Tue, 04 Oct 2005 21:55:46 -0000 "Torrie Hansen" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi- > > I'm working on a DVD project with a client in Norway and I live in > the > US.
