That's a good suggestion. I think what you should do is take a generic avi sample ...perhaps from the adobe site or disc (or bitmaps as well)..put it in premiere ..set it to video for windows and then use an editing effect that comes with premiere...if that works it is likely the interplay of your DV REX stuff
