I just read you last post where you wrote that the 'click' was over your
'speaking' audio... you will need to use an audio software package and
Audition[cooledit pro at one time] is a good place to start. After you
struggle to fix it you'll understand now why in films they bring back the
actors to re-record their dialogue.

just over the few frames that contain the noise[lets say from audio track1].
Then grab a portion of normal ambient [copy] noise the same length [say just
before the click] to fill [paste] in that spot[put on audio track 2].

Using v6.0,1.
I have been given an old wedding video on tape to transfer to DVD.
The problem is the Bride and Groom responses cannot be heard.
What I have done is used Audi Gain - 200% - exported the clip, re-
imported, Auddio gain - 200% -exported a second time, re-impoted and
Audio gain @150% and the responses can be heard at the same level as
the rest of the tape.
My problem is that there is a very load click at some of the cuts. I
tried using Audition's Noise Reduction filter, but no matter what
setting I use it takes out the voices as well and still leaves
the "click" audible.
Anyone with any good suggestions, please?
T.I.A.,
GEORGE.
