What I've learned while removing wires frame-by-frame using photoshop
and filmstrip is that before saving back to filmstrip, you must merge
the file's layer into one (apparently with photoshop cs, it doesn't save
back as filmstrip if you have layers) but it will be saved as 'psd'
files.

Subject: [AP] Filmstrip question

Hi Gurus!

I'm experimenting with film strips and I have a short clip that I
exported as a filmstrip. Reason being is that I wanted to Isolate a
character and the rest of the background transparent. I opened the file
in Photoshop and proceeded to create a new layer to create an alpha
channel. However, when I open this back in premiere, the clip does have
an alpha channel but is not transparent but is a white background. What
could I have done wrong?

Btw, I have set the transparency setting to alpha channel.
Thanks for any help.
