I have a variety of drives, whatever is on sale at the time. I leave them
on 24 hours a day for months on end. I have even purchased Compusa
enclosures and put drives into them. They all work fine.

I don't know if any are Seagate or not.

But, now I am starting to feel paranoid about this.

Perhaps my problem has to do with the enclosures. I often put in
different drives without out any trouble, and don't remember having
any problem until the segate drives. There were two different
enclosures involved; three seagate drives failed, which I think was
due to overheating.
