Most likely you got stuff runing in the background of the computer, how
did you ended up with 1.25gig of ram? Are you mismatching memory as
well? Also, just check for virus, program that runs on background or
perhaps certain driver requires update, like directx drivers.

Subject: [AP] DVD

Hello,

My DVD drive has a tendency to cause my computer (Windows XP) to
freeze when playing or burning a DVD. I am using Adobe-Premiere 1.5 to
burn straight to DVD. Someone suggested to replace my DVD burner. So I
got a dual layer pioneer R100, but the same problem continues to occur.
Even if I just use the DVD player to watch movies. I have a Pentium(r) 4
CPU 2.40 ghz and 1.25 gz of ram. Any advice?

  Thanks,

  Eddy
