If memory serves correct, when you export it, it will lose the timecode. (As
of version 1.5.1. This might be on the wish list for future versions.)

However, if you are using version Premiere Pro 1.5, you can use the project
trimmer to create a new project file with the trimmed clip, which will then
update the project window with the trimmed capture-in and capture-out.
