I just have fun creating it. My latest two compositions are guitar
compositions.
Back in the 60's I used to listen to a lot of Carlos Montoyo flamenco L.P.s.
So, I would do my best to imitate him. Well, here I am 45 years latter and
still
banging around with my classical guitar (but not as good as I used to be).
So, I have a tribute to him on the site. If you need a spanish, flamenco
sound on a music track you might be able to use it,
you can edit it and use parts of it if you want. I hit a few wrong frets on
this piece,
but you won't be able to tell unless you are a guitarist. I dropped a few
beats also.
When you get in your 60's you start dropping a few beats everywhere.
I, also, used to listen to the Ventures a lot back in the 50's and 60's, so I
wrote
a tribute to them also, called rumble guitar. This has the same kind of sound
that
the Ventures had on a song called Apache...but it is different and it is my
original composition.
So, if you are looking for a kind of sinister, rumble guitar sound this might
work for you.
This composition is perfect, because I did it in Finale 2006, whereas the
flamenco song
was done live at 3 AM in the morning.
If anyone has any requests for a "type" of musical sound that they want for an
Adobe
Premiere project let me know, and I will see if I can compose it and put it
together for you, and I'll post it on the free music website. I always enjoy a
good challenge. Just don't ask for anything that J.S. Bach wrote.
That guy was writing music far above in the stratosphere. I play just about
every instrument there is, so
it gives me an edge on composing. I have a feel of what various instruments
can do....like bluegrass banjo.
There are things you can do on a banjo that you can not even begin to do on a
guitar, and vice versa.
Presently, I am putting together a DVD using AP 6.5 and it is presentation on
the solar system and
how finely tuned it is for life on earth. So, I am writing a 2 to 3 musical
minute piece for each of the planets.
These little musicscapes will probably sound "new age".
