I am contemplating the purchase of a stand-alone DVD recorder and one of the
possible alternatives has a 'DV in' (Firewire) input in addition to the
normal composite and S-video inputs.
Does anyone in this group have experience of DVD recorders with 'DV in' and
can you tell me whether the quality of recording through the 'DV in' socket
is NOTICABLY better (or worse!) than via the S-Video socket.
