Hmm... me thinks you didn't read ALL of the responses. ;) You can directly import the .vob file by renaming it to .mpg, without having to convert it. However, it's hard to edit in Premiere Pro 1.x or earlier, because there is no native support for editing .mpg files, which are highly compressed.
Then again, Premiere Pro 2 edits these like a charm. ----- Original Message ----- From: "com_productions" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, January 30, 2006 6:14 PM Subject: [AP] .vob Import to Premiere Hi, I'm a little new to the group and I read the responses to this question before I posted, but I guess I just can't believe that a program as powerful and expensive as Premier would need you to use another program to convert a vob file in order to import it. For some reason I can get the audio and that's it. Any expert help out there that doesn't involve any third party converters? My fear is that I will start to loose quality. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Yahoo! Groups Links Yahoo!
