Hello Mike, Doing what you suggest certainly will work but unlike Photoshop when you modify an image and save it, in an NLE such as Premiere when you are applying effects you are only modifying its output from the timline you are working in. In other words your are not modifying the original clip. The original clip is not changed in anyway and the only way to make a modified clip would be to export it out as a new clip and even in this case the original clip is not modified. Is this the way you understand it or am I missing something? Regards, Richard
