I'm just starting to try single track editing in Premiere 6.5 after using
the A/B technique up to now.
I'm trying to figure out transitions in single track editing. For the video
part, it seems simple enough. Just drop the transition at the "cut" between
two clips.
Now I'm trying to figure out the audio part. I often like to use the
"cross-fade" tool for audio. In A/B editing you overlap the two audio tracks
in question a little, then select the cross-fade tool, then select each of
the audio tracks and bang, they do their cross fade.
I can't seem to do that in single track editing mode.
Is there something I haven't understood, or is it in fact like that? In
general, can you do an audio cross-fade in single track editing? Or maybe
it's automatically a part of any transition? or what?
