Sune, sadly dvd-4 of 4.7gig can only fit about 4.3gig of data or about 70 or so 
minute of high bitrate like 5000, I've done a lot of 2 hours or sso recordings 
to dvd-r and I have to always drop it down to 2500 bitrate which is about the 
quality of vhs. so, if you can fit it at 3500, that's how low you can go to get 
it in.

one thing I've learned, to use separate program for authoring/encoding to mpeg2 
so it gives the best quality control you can have. 

Also, perhaps trying to convert your audio to ac3 or layer 2 mpeg (that 
supposely most european contries can use this), to make your audio size smaller 
and so you can maximize video encoding.

Still it's kinda hard to fit 2 hours into a dvd-r without losing the quality.
