First hardware, then problem. Home built PC with dual AMD processors, about 750 Gb of hard drives, Matrox X100 card, PPro 1.51.
I have been capturing video from my camcorder using Firewire without any problem for the past couple of days. The scene detect was working fine until it stopped detecting scenes. I stopped the capture and went back to where it stopped and started to capture again. However the capture window would control the camcorder, but there was not any video in the viewing window. I closed PPro and reopened it but that did not help. Then I turned off the camcorder and shut the PC off. When I restarted everything, I still had the same problem. The capture window will control the camcorder, but will not display any video. Does any one have any ideas of the cause?
