Hi Dear ,
About removing 1 color from image or movie u could use colorkey 
effect & it's category u'll found all that in effects menue but 
don't forget some touches of feather & retouch it cuz may there will 
be some colors still there 
it's better in premiere pro 2 but it's more wonderfull in after 
effect 7 
try it with these way & if there try to tell us the result
