I used to use an analog camcorder to film my kids growing up. One of
the feature I used almost all the time is the date feature, which shows
on the picture. It gave me a record of how old my children were at the
time. In ten years from now there is no way I will remember when such
a clip were taken without it.
Last Christmas my wife got me a miniDV JVC camcorder. I like it very
much but this date feature is not there. The owner manual says that the
date and time will show in the viewer when I tape but will not get
embedded on the picture. It is exactly what is happening. I
understand, and correct me if i'm wrong, that although the date is not
on the picture, it is still recorded on the resulting captured .AVI
file. My question is: Is it possible to make that date appear on the
picture, like in the analog days, before export to DVD?
Thanks
