Doesn't work that way without dynamic link. Just render your compositions
in AE into whatever video format works with your system, then import them
into Ppro as avi's, numbered tiffs or targas or whatever your choice. You
can't use AE and Ppro "in conjunction" without the dynamic link, but that
doesn't stop you from using AE as a standalone application.

I remember seeing a video tutorial on this. But for the life of me I
can't find the link anymore.
Has anyone used After Effects and Premiere Pro in conjuction without 
the dynamic link. I didn't realise that production studio was required 
for Premiere Pro to accept After Effect files so I was wondering if 
anyone has imported After Effect clips into Premiere Pro without the 
Adobe production studio software.
