I don't think PPro can do what you are trying to do. I use ScenalyzerLive.
Do a search for it and you'll find it. Best money
I've spent for NLEing. I have no financial ties, just a happy editor.

Hi everyone!
I have some footage shot on the Canon XL 2 with 4 sound channels (1&2 and
3&4). How do you capture that in Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0. I¹m trying the
normal way to capture, but I keep getting a mixed sound capture (all
channels together).
