Sune, for dv editing it should be ok, but 4200rpm is definetely slow, for
hdv or hd it will not be powerful enough.

Subject: [AP] New laptop for editing, to slow HD?

Hi Group!
I'm planning on purchasing a new laptop for my field-editing. I've been
looking at Dell Inspiron 9400 but it only has a 4200 rpm HD.
Is this sufficient for NLE'ing?
