I've been importing .avi files into PPro2, which were captured with
Ulead DVD MovieFactory 3, without difficulty. But now PPro indicates
they need to be rendered. Additionally, now PPro has to render .avi
files imported from a hard drive video recorder. The only imported
video not having to be rendered is from miniDV tape.
This is a very recent development, and I can't recall anything I've
changed. The rendering happens significantly faster than when a video
effect is applied. But if I then apply an effect, rendering is much
slower than it used to be.
Any thoughts on why this new need to render has occured?
