I can speak only about Windows version.
1. time remapping effect for gradual speed changes;
2. OnLocation CS3 waveform monitor for big boys (not for toddlers like me);
3. Ultra CS3 chroma keyer (not integrated, unfortunately, therefore
AfterEffects Key Light is the preferred way to go, IMHO), and virtual
sets. Again makes sense for big boys only;
4. Encore is now part of PP distribution (PP itself got production of
DVD with menus dropped from timeline) with Flash and (limited) Blu-ray
disc support, only features from DVD spec are supported for BD; I would
prefer HD DVD support.

And finally, they do not include the image stabilization effect
(SteadyMove) anymore!!! You have to go to AfterEffects from now on for this.

This makes me thinking that PP CS3 itself is a silly release: one big
advance (time remapping), and 2 losses/complications in use (no real DVD
  production without export to Encore, and no stabilization without
AfterEffects) :-(

But they included 2 programs from Serious Magic for big boys to make it
look a Next Big Thing ;-)
