Anyone else tried this? I have a client who had a project in Premiere 7.0.
She had a fella open it in Premiere Pro 1.5 and do a major tweak to all her
audio (keyframe-level work, as well as mixing/mastering/etc.).
Then, at a third location, she opened the file in PPro 2.0 and saved over her
project file, having done nothing in the project (but it DID spend a couple
hours reading Peak Files, darn it).
How likely is it that she can open the project file back in PPro 1.5? How
likely she can open the project file in Premiere 7.0?
My sort of gut instinct is to suggest she try it and if if doesn't work, to NOT
save the file and immediately update her Premiee to PPro 2.0, which will get
her back into the editing game.
Thoughts? Suggestions?
Cheers,
Edward
