I haven't been in your situation but I'm wondering how Encore could give
you that choice unless you have a HD optical burner,
for Blue Ray or the other HD format. No standard DVD burner goes beyond
NTSC/PAL aspect ratios. If I'm missing something
I look forward to having it pointed out, but I think it's unlikely. The
missing link in HDV for most of us has been the jump from
just watching it piped out from the camera to a flat panel, to being able
to put it anywhere else and play it back. That's what the
new format burners bring to the party.

I'm new to Adobe Premiere Pro CS3. I've been learning it and can now
move around and create projects. Currently I'm trying to output a
movie. I've created it, then rendered it, then exported it to Encore.
The movie looks pretty good but I'm trying to make it look better.

For specs:
I shot it with a Sony Z1U, 1080i/480 HDV.

TEST: As a test I captured footage as HDV and I'm now exporting to
Encore. In my Premiere Pro settings I tried all the different settings
but my OUTPUT window always says 720x480 and never matches the source
which is 1440x1080. I would like to match the source: 1440x1080. What
am I doing wrong? I tried progressive and non-progressive and it stays
the same. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
