A relative has Vista on a laptop and I'm trying to connect an external
monitor to the laptop. Both the HDTV and laptop have S-Video and VGA
connetors. I've tried both types of connectors/cables but nothing
works, no picture on the TV. Anyone know what I need to do?
Through trial and error I tried the Fn key and the F4 key (the one
with a monitor icon on it). A small window with a laptop screen
pointing toward an external monitor popped up. Nothing happens with it
however no matter how much I moved the cursor over it.
Still can't get a picture on the external monitor.
I know nothing about Vista, I use Windows XP on my computers.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Mark
