I used a widescreen format on a Canon Mini DV cam I was trying out;
not a HD cam. When I output the movie the transitions between 4:3 to
16:9 are ugly. This might have more to do with DVD authoring than
output. Suggestions, remarks?
I'm having recurring audio cracks from some hot sections. However,
the hot sections don't occur until I've output to movie, as well.
I've used "touch" in the audio mixer to try to overcome the hot
spots, but it's definitely an issue as the mixer tosses out
keyframes in the audio track like spilling rain. If one doesn't get
it just so before saving the resulting issue to remove 1000s of
keyframs is ugly, too.
There's a short clip that plays fine in the timeline, but when
output......stalls, staggers, and then plays belatedly; audio is
fine, but there's some oddity in there. I've just replaced the clip
and will output again.
Forgive for blathering on about personal video stuff.
