What is your work around? I am using PPro on PC. Export timeline always stop around the 9th minute or so. Then, I tried to disabled all the USB hub in Device Manager. Now I can export one hour HDV footage back to tape no problem.
I still need to do more testing to see if that's really the case. I remembered back the days I use Pinnacle DV500. I have to disabled all USB hub in order to get a smooth capture. That's why I give that a try. So far, it works well. Export Movie (in Mac PPCS3) to Apple Intermediate Codec. Open Final Cut Express (project settings 1080-60i), Drop the Exported Movie on the time line, and print-to-tape. The net result is now for the first time, I can finally see and show the edited HD work on TV, and enjoy the "why-I-bought-the-HDV-camera". Another result is that the Blu-ray burner and player just got put-off by a few more months, since now I've got a work-around. Is there a difference in the final display of the product? Yes!
