You'll have to convert flv files into avi, flv are flash videos, usually are finished videos, and just to let you know if you want to use it on Premiere or any other NLE, the quality of a FLV may not be as good as you wishes.
Adobe Flash can import flv and convert it into avi. Last I remembered trying it out. Not that good though.
