Jean,
OK, so after you change all your settings and choose the output format,
you click the OK button at the bottom right corner of the window, and
the Encoder window should close and the File name selector window should
pop open. Did you try clicking the OK button again. Sometimes my
system can be touchy if something else is going on in the background and
I have to click more than once to get a program to respond. The other
possibility I can think of is that you may need to reactivate the Media
Encoder.
