new computer for me and new to the pp CS3
win xp pro
quad 6600
4 mg ram
nvidia 8800 ge force card 512mb
anyhow....setting were wrong when i first tried a project
thus a export to avi was muddy, unfocused sort of result
retried with high def hv30 clips imported at the higher 1440 x 1080
settings however noticed that the export setting were defaulted at
480.
tried umcompressed ms avi file which allowed me to override the
export settings to the high 1440 res. But on playback in Windows
media player was sound only
I might be missing the codecs for HDV or something like that?
Tried playback within PP and it was stilted
Now I found mpeg2 as a setting for export within adobe media encoder,
and windows plays it back......but in slow mo....and very
stilted....yet the image itself is tight???
Suggestions.....of why this issue, and if I have to buy a player so i
get codec which should I get. Would have thought that the codec would
have been on the Nvidia graphics card?
