Try it in Windows Media Player. If it works you may just need a reboot. I 
still use 6.5 on a core duo system these days and audio glitches have 
followed me through three editing systems over the years. Most often 
rebooting fixes them. I hope it's that simple.

in a while. It's about 35 minutes long. I exported the whole thing as
an AVI. When the export finishes it pops up in a preview window but the
audio doesn't play. Now if I scroll forward in the preview window, you
can hear that there is audio, but if you hip play, nada. Also, if I
plce the clip into the timeline the audio plays!

I use Ulead DVD workshop for autoring, it also does not playback the
audio unless scrolled. What gives?
