I bought a 2 GB IBM drive as a second for my Win 95 machine and thought 
it was WWWWWAY kewl. 2 GB!

Are you saying that you think Sony delayed 1394 for 3 years on purpose, 
waiting for hardware to catch up? I have never heard that theory before. 
I couldn't even comment on that issue.
