Sorry for the delay in replying to the group, but my Internet connection has been vey slow or non-existant for some time now.
I purchased the Sony HDR CX-110. Not sure it is the best choice as it does not have and eye viewer and all video must be taken through the flip out monitor. Makes it difficult to hold still. I was not willing to spend the many extra dollars to get one with the eye viewer. We leave next week for Tanzania and only time will tell how well it works out. Uwe, when we were in Botswana, we were north of Ganzi.
