Hi Uwe,

I have media player classic (MPC) with all the codecs added in I need, it
plays H.264 without any problems on a quad core machine. No go on a dual
core just under 2 Gig/core.
All the Blu-Rays I've looked at use the same format as the domestic
camcorders I've noticed, the AVCHD file structure with 3 main folders and
folders inside them, the 'Stream' one being the video data which plays in
MPC fine too.

I've just purchased a Blu-Ray burner for £90, have yet to try it yet, but it
shows the prices are coming down.

Regards,

Neil.
