I had not missed that. Some people sometimes simply talk about 6 but in the
meantime it could be 6.5, just wanted to make sure.
I don't know what is the difference between the two as I went straight from
5.1 to 6.5. ( but I was much younger then:-) )

John, don't you have a manual?
Adobe usually states the supported file types in there.

Or click:  File > Import
There you should find : "Files of type"
expand it and you should find all the acceptable file formats.
